Canine First Aid
Our Canine First Aid Course has been designed to give you basic life saving skills to initially respond to an illness or injury until you can get the pet safely to a veterinary surgery. It is ideal for pet owners, dog walkers, kennel staff / volunteers and is also suitable for pet professionals.
The course lasts for approximately 4-5 hours and includes a short refreshment break.
During the course you will complete theory work and also some practical hands-on skills. You will be assessed throughout the course for participation and understanding and then upon successful completion, you will receive a nationally recognised certificate which is valid for 3 years.
The course fee includes a student manual, refresher emails, access to our online portal, CPD credits, tutor instruction videos, and your certificate.
PLEASE NOTE: Our courses are for humans only; so please leave your pets at home. As much as we would like to welcome animals, real ones are not allowed to participate!
